English Associaation for 2023, the students-elected body that coordinates all programmes of the Department, was formally inaugurated by Shri. Thomas Gurukkal, a well-known Kalari practitioner in Wayanad, on 12 December 2023. He also published the Department magazine, titled MERAKI.

UG Result 2023

When the UG Result '23 came out, these bright fellows made the Department proud by scoring 'A' Grade overall. Kudos to them and all those who are turning 'Graduates' 👏

 

A Day of Victory

The Department bags the First Prize in the college-level tug-of-war competition for men and comes the runners-up in tug-of-war competition for women. The programme was organized by the Department of Physical Education, on 16.03.2023. Well done, dear ones. 💕😎

Hello English

Hello English is how we call our extention activity by which we reach out to our immediate community. Classes are arranged on a regular basis for a group of teenagers who have dropped out from school education. Classes are given by both by our MA students as well as by the faculty members, on basic skills in the English language. This is a collaborative programme in which the Department of English joins hands with some NGOs that work for the education of the marginalized sections.
